Angel Hair Pasta with Za’atar

Angel Hair Pasta with Za’atar Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Lb Angel Hair Pasta (1 Box)
- 1 Tbs Salt
- 1 Lb Baby Spinach (Fresh is best, but frozen works just fine)
- ½ Cup Olive Oil (the better the oil, the better the flavor in recipes where the oil is a key ingredient)
- 6 Cloves of Garlic (when I see this much garlic in a recipe, I just use the whole head, but that’s me)
- ½ Tsp Cracked Red Pepper
- 4 Tbs Za’atar
- 1 Lemon Zested and Juiced
- ½ Tsp Salt
- 1 Tbs Za’atar for garnish
Instructions
- Pasta Start 6 Quarts of Water Boiling with 1 Tbs Salt Add Angel Hair Pasta when water boils
- Sauce - In another large pot, heat Olive Oil.
- When shimmering, add Garlic and Spinach and stir as Spinach wilts
- (Pasta should be cooking at this point)
- When wilted, stir in Za’atar, Cracked Red Pepper, Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest, and ½ Tsp Salt.
- Before draining pasta, add ½ cup of Pasta water to Spinach and stir. Keep another ½ cup of Pasta water in reserve.
