Zucchini Fries with Chili Crisp & Spicy Catsup Dunk

What’s not to like about a Zucchini Stick, especially a baked one? Then dunk it in a mix of Chili Crisp and Spicy Catsup and (poof!) all that’s left are smiles.
Zucchini Fries with Chili Crisp & Spicy Catsup Dunk Recipe
Ingredients
- For Zucchini Fries - 4 medium Zucchini
- 2 cups flavored Breadcrumbs
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmeggiano-Reggiano Cheese
- ½-¾ cup neutral Oil (like peanut, sunflower, avocado)
- Neutral oil spray (Vegetable Oil Pam or Chosen Avocado Oil Spray)
- For Chili Crisp & Spicy Catsup Dunk - 4 oz Spicy Catsup
- 2 oz Chili Crisp
Instructions
- For Zucchini Fries
- Trim ends off Zucchini and cut each one lengthwise into 6 long Sticks
- Place Sticks in a colander and lightly sprinkle with salt (this will remove some of the water from the Zucchini); leave for 30 minutes
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Shake colander gently to remove water, then dry Sticks on paper towels
- Line cooking sheet with parchment paper
- Mix Breadcrumbs and Cheese and put in large shallow bowl
- Put Oil in shallow bowl or plate
- Quickly dip 1 Stick in the Oil and let excess drip back into bowl, then move to bowl with Breadcrumbs and coat each side, then place on parchment-lined cooking sheet
- When done place sheet in 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes and let cool on pan
- For Chili Crisp & Spicy Catsup Dunk - Mix Spicy Catsup with Chili Crisp
- Start dunking and enjoy!
