 
      Pizza with Chickpeas and Za'atar
Here's a delicious use for Za'atar. Make a pizza with zip using chickpeas, feta, mozzarella, and fresh tomato. Za'atar brings everything together.

Pizza with Chickpeas and Za'atar Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 package of ready-made pizza dough (available in most grocery stores)
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 3 tbs of ClaireMade Za'atar
- 1/4 cup of olive oil + 1 tsp to grease pan
- 1 large fresh tomato diced (you can use canned diced tomatoes)
- 1 lemon juiced
- 4 oz. fresh mozzarella
- 4 oz. feta cheese
Instructions
- 1. PRE-HEAT oven to 400 degrees
- 2. Divide pizza dough into two equal pieces and shape into two circles of about 10" each
- 3. Drain the chickpeas and mash them with a fork into a slightly chunky paste
- 4. Mix the lemon juice and 1/4 cup of olive oil into the chickpea paste
- 5. Combine the za'atar into the chickpea mixture
- 6. Spread half the chickpea mixture on each of the circles of dough leaving a 1/2" edge of dough on the outside of each circle
- 7. Sprinkle half the mozzarella and half the feta on each of the pizzas
- 8. Spread half of the diced tomatoes on each of the pizzas
- 9. Cook in a 400-degree oven until bottom of pizza is crusty and golden, approximately 20 minutes
- 10. Cut each pizza into 4 slices and enjoy!
