Grilled Peaches with Mascarpone and Chili Crisp Honey
Easy and delicious dessert for when ripe peaches are in every supermarket and at every farmstand.
10 minutes from start to finish. Three ingredients.
Your grill is still on and you've got a dozen ripe peaches that aren't being eaten as fast as you thought they would. Here is the perfect way to use them via a fast and delicious dessert that uses only three ingredients. There is something about the mix of sweet, soft, grilled peaches, with the creaminess of the mascarpone, topped with the crunchy, slightly hot, and slightly sweet flavor of the Chili Crisp Honey that brings it all together into something everyone loves. (Don't have marscapone? Use yogurt, vanilla ice cream, even whipped cream works!)
Ingredients:
Chili Crisp Honey; mascarpone cheese, ripe peaches.
How to Cook:
1. Wash, halve, and pit the peaches.
2. On a very hot grill (or broiler) put the peaches cut-edge down for five minutes; flip and let cook on peel side for two minutes, then remove from heat ( cook cut-side up first for broiler preparation, then flip).
3. Put a tablespoon of mascarpone cheese where the pit was in each half of the peaches.
4. Drizzle Chili Crisp Honey on top.
(I bring the jar to the table for those who want more.)
Notes: If you don't have mascarpone cheese in your fridge you can use yogurt, vanilla ice cream or even whipped cream.
Grill extra peaches and use cottage cheese or greek yogurt instead of mascarpone for a quick and flavorful breakfast!
